Our
Goal
Our goal
is to raise future ambassadors for the German Shepherd
breed. We believe a German Shepherd should be healthy,
confident and stable. He should be highly intelligent
and trainable, and should have the drive and focus to
perform almost any task. A German Shepherd should be
loyal and dedicated to his family. He should be gentle
with children, yet protective if the occasion arises.
We strive to produce puppies with all of these
characteristics in a sound, structurally balanced body.
Our
Breeding Program
Our
breeding program is based on proven, solid genetics.
We utilize top German bloodlines known for producing good
hips, even temperaments, and high trainability. All of
our breeding females have been formally temperament tested,
hip certified, and titled in a working endeavor such as
schutzhund.
Since we
have a small, selective breeding program, our German
Shepherds enjoy their lives as family dogs. They spend
most of their time with our family, not locked in a kennel.
We are actively involved in agility, herding, obedience,
tracking, and German style conformation. We are proud to be
affiliated with the United Schutzhund Clubs of America, the
Upper Snake River Valley Dog Training club, and the East
Idaho Stock Dog Association, as well as the German Shepherd
Dog Club of America
(GSDCA and GSDCA-WDA). We have signed the German
Shepherd Dog Club of America's
Breeder's Code of Ethics.
We
typically produce only one or two litters a year. This
allows us to provide every puppy with a solid start in life.
