Dog people have a phrase, "heart dog". A heart dog is your constant companion, your protector, your best friend. Gavin is my heart dog. He is with me nearly every hour of the day and fulfills many roles from farm dog to obedience demo dog. He is always reliable, confident and stable in all types of situations. Gavin loves to get out and train in tracking, herding, obedience, agility, and rally. He is a large, balanced male with very good expression, strong bone, and moderate angulation. I know I'm biased, but I adore this dog . . .
