Hi,

I thought I'd send you a quick email and tell you how fantastic our Nina is! I just really can't say enough about how wonderful she is. I credit her breeding and all of the important and time-consuming work you put into the litter's early development. We get numerous remarks daily of how good she is (and how cute) from neighbors, friends, and strangers alike. She is so bright and eager to learn and please, she is gorgeous, but most importantly her temperament is fantastic. She is growing like crazy and we love her gangly legs and big ears! She loves the cat even though it is not quite mutual at this point. In peaceful moments when I am alone in the kitchen I will find them lying next to each other.

Anyway, I just can't say enough about how pleased and in love we are! You've obviously done a remarkable job breeding and socializing her, and your kennel is a tribute to the breed. I'm attaching a picture, but it is a few weeks old by now . . . I haven't downloaded the most recent.

I am extremely happy with the German Shepherd I acquired from Guardyan Kennels. The care that was taken in the breeding of this dog is impressive. I was impressed with the individual attention that was given each pup in the litter. I did not chose my pup, she was chosen for me and I am glad she was. My dog is perfect for what I have to offer her and she is exactly what I hoped for and MORE! She is intelligent, even tempered and beautiful. She has excellent tracking skills, understands guarding, not attacking and is amazingly obedient. I have owned German Shepherds all my life. This dog is far superior to my previous pets. I would happily recommend Guardyan Kennels to anyone who is looking for a high quality GSD.

Lexi is doing fabulous!

She finished basic obedience and we will be looking into further training in the next few months. She is still affectionate as ever and our daughter is becoming much more interactive with her as she is getting older. She is great with both people and other dogs but is very protective of our family. I just went on a fishing trip and returned home at 1:30 a.m. only to have Lexi go berserk and try to get out of my bedroom upstairs (where my wife and daughter were sleeping) barking and growling! She does her job well and knows when barking etc. is appropriate.

Hello Shyne, you are most welcome to use anything I've said (or written) as a reference on your website. We are so happy with Erika; she is a wonderful, smart, and loving member of our family. We are proud to share our lives with her. If you would like a letter of reference I would be happy to provide that as well, although I don't know exactly what I should include outside of what I have said about our girl already. Honestly, you have never met such a sweet and loving dog as our Erika. She is no doubt the pick of the litter :) Good to hear from you Shyne. Hope you are all well.

Previous e-mail: Funny you should email today, we were going to email you this weekend to give a pupdate. Erika is doing great!! We still think we have the pick of the litter. I have attached a photo I took of her for you about 10 minutes ago. She is such a beautiful dog, and strangers stop to tell us this all the time. Her coloring is changing so much. Who knows what she will end up like. Lots of fawn, red, and grey. Yesterday Erika was spayed and is feeling fine, don't worry! We are completely up to date with our vaccinations and the vet thinks her weight is perfect. We took the overweight GSD warning very seriously. I have a spay certificate, if you want me to email a copy for your records please let me know.

We are also proud to say that she recently graduated from puppy kindergarten! She starts advanced puppy class next month. We have mastered sit, lay, stay, leash manners, and come. Stay is not 100% but we are close! Additionally she enjoys shaking hands and we are close to roll over. She plays well with other dogs, she's especially gentle with small dogs which our trainer says is the earmark of a quality dog . . .

Previous e-mail: There is one last thing I forgot to tell you about Erika. Her personality is utterly unflappable. I have never seen such an unshakable dog in my life. We live in the city as you know and there are crazy sirens and parades and construction noise all the time, nothing bugs her. At 4th of July I was worried she might go nuts with all the fireworks and firecrackers in our neighborhood; NADA, it was business as usual for her. Even our vet noted that she has never seen a more unshakable GSD. She is quite remarkable in this regard. And yes she can hear; she can hear me getting my car keys from two floors away in the house :) Thought I would share that with you.

Merlin is doing just great! Everyone is totally in love with him and he is the most awesome dog. I have attached a photo of him from a few weeks ago at Squaw Valley. We had him up at our ski condo. He is getting bigger by the day. You can't walk 10 feet without everyone wanting to pet him and tell us how beautiful and perfect he is. Thank you so much for allowing us to have him. We will send you some more pictures when I get them loaded on my computer.
